Jim Speaks: We request specific prayer for Infection (lung infiltrates), fevers, anything preventing leaving the ICU.
Thanks to all for your prayers. We can feel them, know when you are praying. We don't need to know the What, When, Why or How. We only need to know God has the answers to these questions & answers them in His time & to His glory because He loves us so much. Every week I pray , God speaks. I will try to keep you informed of what God shares with me. I ahd encouraging words from a visitor . Our neighbors, Bill & Amy, have a friend who was working near to me. He said he has seen full recovery in one year from an accident such as mine. This was someone in their 4X4 Club. More to come.......
From Marilyn: Jim & I had a wonderful time of Scripture & prayer yesterday. The discouragement of the last few days has lifted from Jim's countenance. Praise God!
I was able to meet with the Doctor & this is the latest: They will not move Jim until the fevers are gone. His lungs, particularly the left, continue to show infiltrates which they believe are from him at some point aspirating. This means he breathed fluid into his lungs, maybe at the time of the accident. This is definitely a prayer need. The area of breakdown has increased to multiple sites on his bottom; they are actively bleeding. A special mattress has been ordered by the doctor & must be approved by the Wound Nurse today. This mattress will automatically rotate pressure points. These areas can be a site for infection although they do not appear infected now.
They are controlling the rash - called Red Man Syndrome - by slowing the infusion rate of the antibiotics. Jim is on two very powerful antibiotics, IV. He needs these for his lungs & if there is a hidden infection they have not been able to find.

My former Mother-In-Law, Jessie Frazer, died peacefully in her sleep sometime Sunday early morning. Please pray for Mark & Josh (my sons) as they travel to Alabama for her funeral & also pray for all the Frazer family I love so much.

We think of you both so often, and offer up prayers that God will be glorified in this. He probably already has, in thousands of tiny different ways.

hello Jim and Marilyn my prayers and my family’s prayers are c/ you every day even we are not there physically, our thoughts are c/ both of you, i will have to go to peru probably next week for my mothers surgery, i will keep in touch.
