Much better day yesterday. Even with the PEG & the bronchosvopy being - at separate times - & the sedation from them, Jim was in his usual good mood & praising God. Good visits yesterday that strengthened our hearts & increased our faith.
He will most likely be moved to Promise today. All that is requird is that all the Docs sign off for him to go. I do expect this to happen unless there was something overnight I am not aware of at this time. Thie move requires TRUST on our part. Jim & I have not talked about this aspect, but new staff, new doctors, new philosophies of care, most likely out of ICU. Pray that I can trust that Jim will be taken care of properly. Since he cannot speak, the only way he can make a need known is clicking his mouth. Please pray he will be near to the nurse's station so they can hear him.
We read from the first 6 chapters of Revelation yesterday. What beauty & majesty are there! So, all blessing & power & honor & glory to the Lamb who sits on the throne, forever & ever!

Marilyn….... The love you and your husband Jim have for the Lord is beyond any kind of love that can be reached between two human beings on earth. You inspire me everyday and I pray for both of you in my daily prayers.
Last night on Oprah show a young football player (Kevin)from Buffalo Bills was hurt last year in the beginning of the season with a fracture levels 3 & 4 in his c-spine and the Physician for the team, Andrew Cappaccino, MD said he felt that he would never walk again, not telling Kevin. One thing that he did right away was to cool his body down so they gave an IV (?)to make sure that there was no swelling in the neck. After six months of grueling therapy he is now talking, walking and can live a normal life. No he will never play football. But if you did not know that he was hurt that bad you would never know what he has gone thru. God has a plan for your husband we all know that.
Please take care and I would love to come and see you if you would like me to. I would just like to put my arms around you and hold you.
