Jim was maoved to Promise Hospital ICU yesterday. The staff were all very nice & Jim was content enough for me to leave esrly - 7:30. It is located in a not very nice area, so pray for my safety. I did & will get Security to walk me to my car if it is dark.
Jim & I discussed some personal issues & he once again affirmed to me we must trust God, as He is in control of things, not us. It is so strengthening to me to have him continue to be the spiritual leader of our home laying as he is. God is so good!
Whenever someone uses the word "Quad" or "Quadraplegic" around him, it is like a punch in the stomach. I finally asked him if he was bothered by this & he said"That's what I am" & said it doesn't bother him. What a guy! He let everyonme know at Promise what his goals are: Get off the Vent, swallow properly, lots of therapy. They were happy to know he even had goals for himself.
Thanks to all for your prayers - please don't stop!

Jim and Marilyn, Ralph and I want you to know you are remembered in our prayers every time we bow our heads for any kind of prayer. God IS the great physician and His ways are not our ways, but having Him in control we KNOW we are “right on schedule”...as with my son Chris 21 years of Gods control has proved it to be successful. He is still disabled but has found joy and peace in his life, only through Christ….We LOVE YOU BOTH SOOO MUCH…Ralph and Rhondds…

I continue to pray for Jim’s healing and that both of you will find peace and strength in God’s will. Jim has a wonderful testimony, and God will use this to win souls. He has certainly spoken to my heart through Jim’s experience. God bless both of you.
